Special Characters

This dialog box that will allow you to view graphic font ( Symbols, Webdings, Wingdings,...) characters, that you may want to insert into your custom emote. It also gives you access to those ƒüñkÿ çhå®ãç†ë®š, from regular fonts, that you can't easily type from the keyboard.

Simply double click the “special” character you want to insert. It will then appear in the copy box. Once you are done selecting characters, click the copy button to insert those characters into your emote. If you right click on the “Special” dialog box, a pop-up menu will allow you to select the font, font style (regular, bold, italic), and size.

Keep in mind that not everyone will have the same fonts as you. If you use an obscure font that another person does not have, their chat client will replace the font you selected with a default font for them to view. Arial, Tahoma, Times New Roman, Symbols, Webdings, and Wingdings are among the most common fonts installed on most computers. Limiting yourself to using common fonts will likely give you the best results.
